Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-17T05:08Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2026-03-17T05:08:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S15E10
Active Region Number: 14392
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME faintly seen to the SE in STEREO A COR2 and SOHO LASCO C2. The CME is not clearly visible in GOES CCOR-1 and is obscured by the pylon in SOHO LASCO C3. The potential source is a filament eruption with brightening starting at 2026-03-17T02:41Z from AR 14392 (approximately S15E10). The eruption is also visible near the SE limb from the point of view of STEREO A EUV 304 starting at 2026-03-17T03:45Z.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
